AccessManager

General

The basic settings of each device include the activation state (On/Off) as well as a name under which all alarms and warnings reported by this device are displayed. This should be chosen as uniquely descriptive as possible to be able to distinguish between devices.

Alarm Group

By selecting the parent alarm group, the device is integrated into the system hierarchy.
Alarms are signaled in the parent alarm group.

Address

The IP address of the device can be set here. This is used for communication with the AccessManager.

Connection

Connection monitoring enables alarming when the device is not reachable.

Alarm AssignmentSelection of the alarm assignment
Output as WarningConnection loss does not trigger an alarm and is only reported as a warning.

External Alarm System

An external alarm system can be controlled via an AccessManager. This can be connected via the digital inputs and outputs of the AccessManager and then selected here. Additionally, the DoorLocks that should control the external alarm system can be selected.

Control of External Alarm Systems

Here you can set whether an external alarm system should be triggered by bookings.

DoorLocks for External Alarm System

Select the DoorLocks that should control the external alarm system.

External Sensors

In this area, external sensors connected to the digital inputs can be configured.

A configuration can be made for each external sensor that determines the functionality of the sensor. The configuration includes the following settings:

ChannelSelection of the alarm assignment
NameThe designation used here is used in KentixONE to identify the external sensor, such as in alarm messages and log entries.
Alarm GroupAlarms triggered by an external sensor are signaled in the alarm group selected here. In the Detail View, the sensor is displayed in this alarm group.
Alarm whenDepending on the configuration selected here, the external sensor triggers an alarm when its state is open or closed.
TypeThe external sensor can be used in various ways in KentixONE.
Depending on the selected type, the sensor can be used in advanced functions and may be displayed differently in the Detail View.
Standard The sensor can be used normally and does not trigger any special behavior.
Door Contact The sensor is used to monitor the open/closed state of a door. This type is recommended when using a door/magnetic/reed contact.
Leakage The sensor is used for leakage detection. This type is recommended when using a Kentix LeakageSensor.
Presence/Motion The sensor is used to detect people in an area. This type is recommended when, for example, a PIR motion sensor is connected. The external sensor can now be used in an mantrap.
Ignore when armingWhen an external sensor has triggered an alarm, its parent group normally cannot be armed (see Interlocking).
Alarm delayIn some application scenarios, it can be helpful not to signal an alarm immediately. This delay can be set here for the external sensor.
Description open/closedDepending on the state of the external sensor, a different description can be displayed in the Detail View

Alarm Assignment

NameAPI ValueDescription
OffoffFor this input, alarming is disabled and the state/measured value is not updated.
Armed-Activearmed-activeWhen the parent alarm group is armed, alarms can be triggered. The state/measured value of the input is updated.
Always-Activealways-activeAlarms can be triggered regardless of the switching status of the alarm group. The state/measured value of the input is updated.
FirefireAlarms can always be triggered. These are reported as fire alarms.
SabotagesabotageAlarms can always be triggered. These are reported as sabotage/intrusion alarms.
System MessagesystemAlarms can always be triggered. These are reported as system messages.
Display Onlydisplay-onlyNo alarm evaluation takes place. The state/measured value continues to be updated.
Arm-Disarmarm-disarmThe assigned alarm group can be armed and disarmed via this input.
ArmarmThe assigned alarm group can only be armed via this input.
DisarmdisarmThe assigned alarm group can only be disarmed via this input.

Inputs & Outputs

This section graphically displays the configuration and status of external sensors and switching outputs.

Inputs

An overview of the AccessManager's external sensors with visual representation of the current status. Each input shows whether it is occupied or not occupied.

Outputs

An overview of the AccessManager's switching outputs with visual representation of the current state. Each output shows whether it is occupied or not occupied.

Webhooks

Webhooks in KentixONE provide the ability to send an HTTP request to an external server when an event occurs. System-wide Webhooks can be created for this purpose. Such a webhook can be assigned to any number of events.

tip

Webhooks also provide the possibility to implement functions via the KentixONE SmartAPI that are not available through the standard configuration.

For example, when a fire alarm occurs, the switching outputs of an AccessManager could be activated to unlock the connected motor locks.

Events

NameDescription
All AlarmsThe webhook is sent for every alarm that occurs.
Armed-Active AlarmsWhen an armed-active alarm occurs, the webhook is sent.
Always-Active AlarmsWhen an always-active alarm occurs, the webhook is sent.
Fire AlarmsWhen a fire alarm occurs, the webhook is sent.
Sabotage AlarmsWhen a sabotage alarm occurs, the webhook is sent.
System MessagesWhen a system message is triggered, the webhook is sent.
Before ArmingThe webhook is sent when an alarm group is to be armed.(1)
After ArmingThe webhook is sent after an alarm group has been armed.
Before DisarmingThe webhook is sent when an alarm group is to be disarmed.(1)
After DisarmingThe webhook is sent after an alarm group has been disarmed.
Change of Switching Status (Arming or Disarming)When the alarm group is switched, the webhook is sent.
Cyclical (5 Min, 10 Min, 15 Min, 30 Min)The webhook is sent cyclically.
info

(1) The webhook is sent when a switching command is triggered either by a user or by automatic arming. Example: (Dis-)Arming command by user → Webhook is sent → (Dis-)Arming is executed

Test Functions

Here, the physical functions of the device can be manually controlled to test them.
