Account Management
Account management in KentixONE is used to create and manage user accounts and their permissions. It is divided into the two areas Users and User Groups.
Key areas
👤 Users
Manage individual user accounts: names, e-mail, active status and assigned permissions.
Open view👥 User groups
Define roles and assign permissions. Changes apply to all assigned users.
Open viewFunctions & layout
- Users area: Table with username, e-mail, phone, name and assigned permission. Entries can be filtered and sorted.
- User groups area: Overview of existing roles/groups such as Administrator, Manager or Viewer.
- Search field and actions in the header bar simplify finding and maintaining entries.
The displayed columns and row actions may vary slightly depending on the system version or your assigned rights.
Controls
Search and filter
Use the search field above the list to quickly find entries. Additional filter and sort options are available in the table header.
Row actions
Depending on your permissions, actions such as edit, delete or copy are available per row.
Create new entries
Use the plus icon to create new users or user groups.
Deleting users or groups cannot be undone. Make sure the entry is no longer used before removing it.

- Create, edit, enable/disable user accounts
- Assign user groups (roles) to grant permissions
- Reset passwords according to the security policy
User groups
- Create and manage roles to bundle permissions
- Typical examples: Administrator, Manager, Viewer
- Changes to a group affect all assigned users
