Alarm Horn
The alarm horn provides acoustic (buzzer) and optical (LED) signaling for alarms and warnings in KentixONE. On this page you configure the device, assign a signaling profile, and run an on‑device test.
General
The basic settings of each device include the activation state (On/Off) as well as a name under which all alarms and warnings reported by this device are displayed. This should be chosen as uniquely descriptive as possible to be able to distinguish between devices.
Alarm Group
By selecting the parent alarm group, the device is integrated into the system hierarchy.
Alarms are signaled in the parent alarm group.
Signaling profile
Assigning a profile defines how the siren behaves for different triggers. Select the desired profile from the dropdown. Use the button to switch to the signaling profiles and adjust them there if needed.
On‑device test
Use the on‑device test to verify the configuration on the device. Choose a signaling type and start the test. The test function ends automatically after 10 seconds (acoustic) or 30 seconds (optical), regardless of any configured duration.
Example signaling types:
- All off
- 10 seconds red/green blinking & low buzzer
- 10 seconds red/white blinking & fast/loud buzzer
- 10 seconds pink/blue blinking & oscillating buzzer
- Permanent blue LED & buzzer off
- 5 seconds blue blinking and fast buzzing
- 10 seconds pink/green blinking and oscillating buzzing
- 5 seconds green blinking and fast buzzing
