Filter Profiles

With filter profiles, you can save any combination of filters in the Detail View and easily and quickly retrieve them later. Filter profiles allow you to manage frequently used filter combinations and quickly switch between different views.

Functions & Display ​

Displayed Information:

  • Dropdown menu for selecting available filter profiles
  • Current filter settings by categories (Device Status, Door State, Device Type, My Company)
  • Hierarchical display of filters with color-coded status indicators

Special Features:

  • Filter profiles are displayed in a dropdown list
  • Different categories of profiles (None, Personal Profiles, Public Profiles)
  • Immediate application of filters when selecting a profile

Control Elements​

Filter Profile Dropdown​

The "FILTER PROFILE" dropdown menu is located in the upper area of the Detail View and allows selection between different filter profiles:

  • None: No filters applied
  • Personal Profiles: Your personal filter profiles
  • Public Profiles: Profiles shared for all users

Use the search function "Search filters..." in the dropdown to quickly find what you need when you have many profiles.

Creating Filter Profile​

To create a new filter profile:

  1. Select the desired filters in the various categories
  2. Click on the "+" symbol next to the Filter Profile dropdown

Filter Profile Dialog​

In the "Save Filter Profile" dialog, you can make the following settings:

Name: Assign a descriptive name for the filter profile

Scope:

  • Share for all users: The profile becomes visible to all users
  • System-wide default filter: Set as system-wide default (administrators only)

Selected Filters: Overview of all currently selected filters that will be saved in the profile

Setting a global default filter can only be done by administrators and affects all users of the system.

Editing Filter Profiles​

Existing filter profiles can be edited retrospectively:

  • Select the profile from the dropdown
  • Change the filter settings as needed
  • Save the changes as an update to the existing profile or as a new profile

Personal default profiles take precedence over system-wide default profiles. If you have set a personal default profile, it will be automatically loaded when opening the Detail View.

Tips & Tricks​

  • Use descriptive names for your filter profiles to easily find them later
  • Create separate profiles for different workflows (e.g. "Critical Alarms", "Maintenance Required")
  • Use the sharing function to share useful filters with your team
  • Set a personal default profile for your most common use case
