System Log
The system log chronologically lists all messages that were triggered by changes or influences on the system. The log serves to provide complete documentation of system events such as synchronizations, login activities, configuration changes and other system-relevant processes.
Functions & Display
Displayed Information:
- Date and time of events
- Function description (e.g. synchronization, login app, configuration change)
- Detailed description of the event
- User or system context
Special Features:
- Chronological display with newest entry at the top
- Color-coded entries depending on event type
- Automatic timestamps for all system activities
The system log only records system events and does not contain alarms or warning messages. These can be found in the corresponding alarm and event overviews.
Control Elements
Date Filter
You can limit the displayed time period using the date selection. By default, the current day is displayed. You can set both start and end dates individually to specifically search for events in certain time periods.
Table View
The system events are displayed in a clear table with the following columns:
- Date: Complete date and time of the event
- Function: Categorization of event type (synchronization, login, configuration, etc.)
- Details: Detailed description of the logged process
Use the date filters to specifically search for events in certain time periods. This is especially helpful for error analysis or tracking system changes.
Common Event Types
Synchronization: Logs all automatic and manual synchronization processes of the system
Login App/Web Interface: Documents all logins via different access methods
Configuration Change: Records changes to system settings and parameters
Language & Region: Logs changes to language and region settings
The number of displayed entries is shown at the bottom of the screen. For many events, you can navigate through the pages or limit the time period.
