Reset
Resetting the system allows you to delete all settings and data or restart the system. Configuration is done through a simple form with two main areas.
System Reset
You can reset the device here. If you are using an SD card, the data on it will remain. Delete this via the SD card menu item or externally on a PC.
Reset...
The "Reset..." button starts the system reset process. All settings and data will be deleted.
It is recommended to create a backup of the system before resetting. Since the inserted SD card can be selected as storage location for the backup, the data on the SD card will not be reset.
Keep Network Settings
Activate this checkbox if the current network settings should be preserved after the reset. This can be helpful to maintain access to the system after the reset.
Reboot
Restart the system. This process can take up to two minutes.
Restart...
The "Restart..." button performs a system reboot. All running processes will be terminated and the system will be rebooted.
The restart normally takes between 30 seconds and two minutes, depending on system configuration.
