Privacy

The privacy configuration allows you to adapt the KentixONE system to applicable data protection guidelines. Here you can define retention periods for user-related logbook data and set up automatic deletion cycles.

Overview {#overview} ​

The privacy mask provides central management of all privacy-relevant settings for the KentixONE system. Through this configuration, you can ensure that your system complies with the requirements of GDPR and other data protection guidelines.

Logbook Data ​

Select the duration for storing logbook entries with user-related data. After the selected time has elapsed, these entries will be automatically deleted from the system.

Available options:

  • Store indefinitely: Logbook data is permanently stored (default)
  • 1 day: Data is deleted after one day
  • 3 days: Data is deleted after three days
  • 1 week: Data is deleted after one week
  • 1 month: Data is deleted after one month
  • 3 months: Data is deleted after three months
  • 6 months: Data is deleted after six months
  • 1 year: Data is deleted after one year
  • 2 years: Data is deleted after two years
Wichtiger Hinweis

The deletion of logbook data is irreversible. Make sure that the selected retention period meets your compliance requirements and consider any audit or forensic requirements.

Empfehlung

For most use cases, a retention period of 6 months to 1 year is recommended to achieve a balanced compromise between data protection and traceability.

Automatische Löschung

Deletion occurs automatically in the background according to the configured time periods. Manual intervention is not required.
