Date & Time
The correct setting of date and time is absolutely necessary for the error-free operation of the KentixONE system. Here you can set the time zone and enter date and time either manually or obtain them automatically via NTP servers.
Date & Time Settings
Timezone
Select the appropriate timezone from the dropdown list. The timezone is crucial for the correct display and processing of time-related functions in the system.
Set Date & Time Automatically
Activate this option to automatically synchronize date and time via NTP servers. This is the recommended setting for precise time configuration.
Automatic synchronization via NTP servers ensures continuously accurate time setting and reduces administrative effort.
NTP Server 1 & NTP Server 2
When automatic time setting is enabled, the addresses of the NTP servers are entered here. By default, public NTP server addresses are already preset:
- NTP Server 1:
0.de.pool.ntp.org
(preset by default) - NTP Server 2:
1.de.pool.ntp.org
(preset by default)
You can also use your own NTP server addresses if your network provides special NTP servers.
Set Time Manually
When automatic time setting is disabled, you can manually enter the date and time here. The format follows the schema: MM/DD/YYYY H:MM AM/PM.
Incorrect date or time settings can lead to malfunctions of the KentixONE system. This includes logbooks, automatic arming/disarming or time-controlled unlocking of DoorLocks.
