Master Data
In the "Master Data" area, you maintain the basic information of a user account. This data is used system-wide – e.g. for login, display in logbooks, and notifications.
Account Settings
User Account Active
Here you can activate or deactivate the user account.
Inactive users cannot open DoorLocks, receive notifications, or use the web interface or online service.
Account Type
The created user has either Standard, Administrator, or Guest rights.
Identification
Username
The username is used to log in to the web interface. It must be unique and cannot be duplicated within the system.
Changing the username afterwards will result in the user no longer being able to log in with the old name. Inform the user in advance and update any documentation or automations if necessary.
Name
The visible display name of the user. It appears in logs, events, and lists. Use the full name or a clear designation here (e.g., "Reception" for functional accounts).
Description
Free text field for notes or remarks about the user. Ideal for department affiliations, location, or specific responsibilities.
Picture (Profile Photo)
The profile picture is displayed in KentixONE and can be used for identification with devices featuring FaceID functionality (e.g., FaceID Max). Upload a neutral portrait with a clearly recognizable face.
Recommendation: square image, well-lit, face frontal. Pay attention to data privacy and only use images whose use is permitted.
Email Address
Used for email notifications and system notices. Enter a valid, reachable address.
For functional accounts, a central group mailbox (e.g., "controlcenter@example.com") may be useful, so multiple people can receive the notices.
Phone Number
Phone number in international format (E.164), starting with "+" and country code, e.g., "+491701234567". This is used for SMS notifications, among other things.
If no phone number is provided, the user cannot receive SMS-based notifications.
