Monitoring

In the "Monitoring" section, you define which alarm groups a user is allowed to see and operate, and through which channels they are notified in case of events. Additionally, billing schedules can be assigned here, which the user receives periodically via email.

Permissions ​

Alarm Groups​

Select which alarm groups the user gets access to. The assignment controls, among other things:

  • Visibility of the alarm groups in the interface
  • Operation rights (e.g., arming/disarming)
  • Receipt of events and notifications from assigned groups

Assign only the alarm groups the user truly needs (Principle of Least Privilege).

Notifications​

In the notifications section, you define which notification profiles are assigned to a user. The stored profiles determine through which channels and for which events the user receives notifications. This allows for centralized alert management and uniform assignment to multiple users.

Notification Profiles​

Select a previously defined notification profile from the list. Once selected, the user automatically inherits the notification settings stored in the profile.

The actual configuration of notification channels is done within the notification profile, not in the user account itself.

Additional notification profiles can be added to the user using the + button. Multiple profiles allow combining notifications from different areas of responsibility.

Billing ​

Here you assign billings to the user. The selected billings are automatically sent to the user via email at the respective billing time.

  • Use the input field to select one or more billings.
  • Remove entries if the user should no longer receive the billings.

Billings are delivered independently of the notification settings. Ensure the email address is correct.
