Reporting
This article describes all settings in the "Reporting" tab within the user group configuration. Here you define whether members of this user group are allowed to view, create, and manage reports and invoices.
Reports
Reports provide periodic preparation of measurements (e.g., temperature, energy, or humidity reports) and enable email distribution or storage.
Manage Reports
Allows creating, editing, enabling/disabling, and deleting reports. Without this permission, users can only view existing reports but cannot modify them.
The data sources used in reports (alarm groups, devices, measurements) can have far-reaching effects. After making changes, check the recipient list and the schedule.
Invoices
Invoices are used for cost evaluations – typically based on energy data (e.g., kWh consumption per period, customer, or tariff). In KentixONE, invoices can be automatically generated and distributed.
Manage Invoices
Allows creating, editing, and deleting invoices as well as assigning tariffs and customers.
Manage All Invoices
Extends the above permission to all invoices in the system – even those not explicitly assigned to the user group.
The permission “Manage All Invoices” grants extensive access to sensitive, invoice-related data. Assign it only to trusted individuals and observe internal compliance guidelines.
