Dashboard

This article describes all settings in the "Dashboard" tab within the user group configuration. Here you define which areas of the start interfaces (Easy View, Detail View, Logbooks, etc.) members of this group are allowed to view and operate.

Easy View

The Easy View is the simplified, widget-based interface for daily operations.

Manage Dashboards

Allows creating, editing, and deleting personal dashboards in the Easy View. Without this permission, users can only view dashboards but not modify them.

tip

Assign this permission only to responsible operators. For pure viewers, access to the Easy View without editing rights is sufficient.

Detail View

The Detail View provides a deeper insight into states and objects.

Detail View

Grants general access to the Detail View. Many subsequent permissions require this.

Graphical View

Allows the use of the graphical view (e.g., room/location plans) within the Detail View.

Manage Graphical View

Allows changing backgrounds, placing/adjusting symbols, and editing associated layout information of the graphical view.

Filter Profiles

Filter profiles enable the user to save and share specific filter combinations.

Alarm Groups

Determines how members are allowed to interact with alarm groups.

View All Alarm Groups

Allows viewing all alarm groups existing in the system – even if they are not explicitly assigned to the group.

Manage Assigned Alarm Groups

Permits managing (e.g., renaming, assigning) the alarm groups assigned to the user group.

Arm/Disarm Assigned Alarm Groups

Allows arming/disarming the alarm groups assigned to the group.

Acknowledge Alarms

Allows acknowledgment of alarms within the assigned alarm groups.

warning

Acknowledgment and arming/disarming rights should only be granted to trustworthy users, as they directly influence the alert process.

Devices

Defines which types of devices users are allowed to add, edit, or operate.

Manage Monitoring Devices

Allows adding and editing monitoring devices (e.g., MultiSensors, IO modules).

Manage Access Devices

Allows adding and editing access devices (e.g., DoorLocks, AccessManager).

Manage Power Devices

Allows managing power/energy devices (e.g., PowerManager, SmartMeter).

Manage Video Devices

Allows adding and editing video/camera devices.

Bulk Editing

Enables simultaneous editing of multiple devices (bulk changes).

Synchronize Satellite Devices

Allows manual synchronization of satellite devices via the widget bar to immediately apply configuration changes.

Remote Unlock

Allows users to remotely unlock door locks (DoorLocks), provided the user is authorized within the relevant access profiles.

danger

Remote unlocking grants immediate access. Only enable this permission for users with a clear operational mandate and, if applicable, additional logging requirements.

Logbooks

Grants access to various logs to trace events and access entries.

Event Logbook

Permission to view the general event log (system events, alarms, status changes, etc.).

Access Logbook

Allows access to the access log.

View Access Entries of All Users

Expands the view in the access log to all users' entries, not just the user's own. Without this option, the user can only see entries that concern themselves or are explicitly shared with them.

System Log

Allows viewing the system log (updates, synchronizations, background processes).

note

To comply with data protection guidelines, access to logbooks – especially system-wide access data – should be granted restrictively.

Area Changes

Regulates permissions around area changes and attendance overviews.

Manage Area Changes

Allows configuring area change settings and triggering area changes if contextually possible.

Attendance List

Allows viewing the attendance list, which provides a current overview of all users logged into the system.
