Time profiles, together with the exception day profiles in an access profile, define the times at which a user is granted access to doors. For example, you can specify that a user only has access during office hours.
In addition, time profiles are used for the time-controlled opening of SmartAccess components. For example, the public area of a building can be freely accessible via time-controlled opening during opening hours.
When using SmartAccess components with the option of double authentication, their necessity can be controlled with the help of time profiles. For example, during regular working hours, access can only be gained with an RFID token, while a second authentication factor is required outside these times.
KentixONE provides predefined time profiles that can be edited or changed at any time. Additional profiles can also be created if required.
The smallest time unit for processing access times is 15 minutes.
