SIM Information

As soon as an activated SIM card has been inserted into the device and the mobile connection has been activated, the SIM information appears. These provide information about the connection status, the network operator and the ICCID (Integrated Circuit Card Identifier).

As soon as the device has dialed into the network of a network operator, the status “Ready for operation” appears and the name of the network operator is displayed. If an incorrect PIN was entered to activate the SIM card, the status “Enter PIN” appears (this status also appears if no PIN was entered but a PIN is required). As soon as the PIN has been entered incorrectly three times, the PUK is required to reactivate the PIN. The status “Enter PUK” appears accordingly.

The ICCID is a globally unique identification number for the SIM card. It is both stored in the card’s ROM and usually printed on the card itself.

The SIM card settings and the PIN are managed under this menu item. By default, a PIN is required to activate the SIM card. This can be entered via the “Set PIN” tab. You can also change the PIN and activate or deactivate the PIN query. If the PIN request is deactivated, a PIN is no longer required to unlock the SIM card.

SMS Gateway
