Access Profiles
An access profile connects a time profile with a list of DoorLocks and represents the information about when a user has access to the selected DoorLocks. Complex access scenarios for different user groups can be realized through the combination of various settings.
General Settings
Name
Unique designation of the access profile for identification in user management.
Active
This setting can be used to activate or deactivate the access profile. Deactivated profiles do not grant access.
Time Profile
Link to a time profile that defines the time frames for access. The time profile can be used to set when the DoorLocks can be opened.
Exception Days
The exception days define periods during which the access profile is not evaluated.
Through the combination of time profile and exception days, for example, office hours with company holidays can be configured.
The normal working hours are stored in the time profile. Once the period of company holidays is determined, it can
be configured as an exception day profile and assigned to the access profile.
During holiday periods, users with this access profile will not be granted access.
DoorLocks
Available DoorLocks
List of all DoorLocks available in the system that can be assigned to the access profile.
Assigned DoorLocks
List of DoorLocks for which the access profile grants access. Only users with this profile can access the selected DoorLocks at the defined times.
DoorLocks are assigned by selecting from the list of available devices. A DoorLock can be assigned to multiple access profiles to enable differentiated access rights for different user groups.
Make sure that at least one DoorLock is assigned for the access profile to be functional. A profile without assigned DoorLocks does not grant access to physical areas.
