Account settings
Contains all the basic data and authorizations of a user account.
To be able to create a user, at least the user name, the full name and the user group must be configured.
If the user is to have access to the web interface of a KentixONE device, he needs a password, which he uses in combination with the user name for the login.
An e-mail address can be entered to receive notifications from the system by e-mail. Configuring an e-mail address does not automatically activate notifications via this channel. To do this, the corresponding authorizations must be set in the “Notifications” category.
A user always requires one of the three available authorization levels. As a standard user, they have a user group that determines their authorizations in the web interface, as well as alarm groups and access profiles assigned to them. In the detail view and the logbooks, the user only sees the alarm groups and devices assigned to them.
An administrator has unrestricted access to the system and can operate all functions of the web interface.
A guest user has no access to the web interface and monitoring functions. This permission level is intended for users who are only to use access functions.
The assigned alarm groups allow a user to see these alarm groups and their subordinate devices in the detail view. With the appropriate authorization from the user group, they can arm and disarm the alarm groups and acknowledge alarms.
The access profiles specify when a user is allowed to open which doors. This applies to openings via RFID transponder, remote opening and via the KentixONE apps.
A user account can be activated or deactivated both manually and automatically.
To activate or deactivate a user account automatically, simply enter the relevant date and time.
Notifications
For each user, you can specify which notification channel is used to signal the different alarm types.
Each of the five alarm types has its own configuration options for its notifications.
For both alarms (red outline) and warnings (yellow outline), you can specify which notification channel is to be used.
Notification by e-mail is available on all KentixONE devices, but requires a configured SMTP server or an active connection to the KentixONE online service.
On devices with an active SIM card, possible with SiteManager and AlarmManager, notification by SMS can also be configured. To do this, a mobile phone number must be stored in the “General” category.
With an active connection to the KentixONE online service, the option of push notification is also available. To be able to use this service, the user must have installed the KentixONE app and set up the relevant system there.
Settlements
Here you can select which invoices a user receives. Billing contains the consumption and costs of defined SmartMeters and SmartPDUs at defined tariffs. These can be configured in the menu under SmartPDU/Billing. Billing statements are sent by e-mail by default.
General
Additional user information and authorizations are configured in this category.
The user requires a telephone number or mobile phone number for a notification by SMS for SiteManagers or AlarmManagers. This must be entered in the format +49 … .
If one or more DoorLock-WAx are used with KeyPad and PIN authentication is active, a PIN can be assigned to a user. The required length of the PIN depends on the setting under Configuration/Security.
To ensure that doors can still be opened in the event of a communication failure between DoorLocks (battery-operated only) and AccessManager, the user can be granted emergency access. If a DoorLock cannot reach its AccessManager, this means that no access evaluation can take place. In this case, users with emergency access may still open the door.
As this is purely a security function, it is recommended that authorization is only granted to selected users.
The transponder ID is the ID of the RFID transponder with which the user can book at DoorLocks. If none is stored, doors can only be opened remotely or via an app.
If the user is to be able to arm and/or disarm alarm groups, the corresponding authorization must be set here.
The API token shown can be used if the user is to operate the KentixONE system via the SmartAPI.
In this case, the token must be used for authentication via Bearer Token.
