Billing

Kentix SmartPDU devices have MID-certified energy meters. Bills can be created on the basis of the data collected. These can be created, saved and sent automatically on request. The following components are required to create a bill:

  1. Tariff: records the price for the energy consumed [kWh]
  2. Customer: Enables the assignment of invoices to customers
  3. Currency: The currency to be used can be selected and new ones can be created
  4. Measurement channels: Selection of the measurement phases of the PDUs that are used in billing

To send the invoices, they are linked to one or more users. This is done in the settings for the users.

Valid details are required in “Communication” –>e-mail to send statements.
