Reports

Reports serve for automated, periodic listing and processing of measured values. The configuration is done via a multi-step form with different categories for detailed customization.

General ​

Configuration of the report name and sending interval.

Name​

Give the report a name. This field is marked as required and must be filled out.

Sending Interval​

Defines the period in which the report should be sent. Available options are:

  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Monthly
  • Yearly

Depending on the chosen interval, the measured value in the report can be resolved further in time, with the smallest resolution being daily.

Content ​

The report is created based on the specified measured value. The data source includes all devices from the configured alarm groups as well as additional devices.

Measured Value​

Select the measured value that should be included in this report for all specified devices. "Temperature" is selected here as an example.

Measured values can be chosen from monitoring and energy areas. Devices that are subordinate to a rack unit only provide the measurement value of the rack unit when selecting the parameter as a group measurement.

Alarm Groups​

The report is generated for all devices in the selected alarm groups. One or multiple alarm groups can be selected here.

Devices​

Individual devices that should be additionally considered in the report. This setting complements the devices selected via alarm groups.

Breakdown​

Breaks down the report according to this specification. Available options:

  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Monthly
  • Yearly

Additionally, advanced evaluation functions can be selected:

Sum​

Calculates the total sum for all devices, as well as the sum per device over the selected interval.

note

The sum of measured values is only meaningful for energy consumption and can only be selected for this parameter.

Average​

Calculates the average value across all devices in the selected interval.

Minimum​

Provides the lowest measured value of all devices in the selected interval.

Maximum​

Provides the highest measured value of all devices in the selected interval.

Including Individual Measurements​

The individual measurements of the devices are included in the report.

If individual measurements are of interest for the report in addition to the aggregate function, they can be included via the "Including Individual Measurements" option. By default, only the configured breakdown is applied to the measurements.

Format ​

The report can be delivered in various formats.

Save Report As​

Select the file format in which the report should be saved and sent. CSV is pre-selected as default.

CSV Separator​

A CSV separator is a character used to separate data fields in a CSV file. By default, the semicolon (;) is used.

Decimal Separator​

Select the decimal separator suitable for your region. The period (.) is pre-selected as default.

Email ​

The report can be sent to multiple users with registered email addresses.

Send via Email​

Enable this option to send the report via email.

Send to Following Users​

Select the users to whom the report should be sent. Multiple recipients can be selected.

Sending Time​

The time at which the report email should be sent. The default format is "HH:MM" (e.g. "--:--").

Save To ​

The report can be saved in multiple locations.

Configure Storage Location​

Here you can configure the storage location for the report. A table with the columns "STORAGE PATH" and "TYPE" is displayed where you can add various storage locations.

Use the "Create Link" button to add a new storage location.
