An event profile controls the arming and disarming of various alarm groups at a specific time. Arming a group activates the evaluation of armed-active alarms. This is used, for example, to realize a motion alarm in an area only outside working hours. No movement alarm should be triggered during working hours. To do this, the area is combined into an alarm group in the detail view and the corresponding event profile is assigned to this alarm group.
Event profiles are managed in a tabular view where they can be edited and new profiles can be created.
Events are assigned to the event profile. Arming, disarming and acknowledging are events. Arming and disarming refers to alarm groups and acknowledging to alarms that can be acknowledged. The event is also assigned a time and a day of the week. This means that any number of events can be assigned to the event profile.
