Reset or relearn the service key

Re-learning or resetting can be helpful to put a system into operation for testing purposes. The components can then be reprogrammed at the customer's with the customer's service key. This procedure is also important when returning components. Deleting or reprogramming a lost service key involves hardware intervention in the factory and service costs.

Factory reset

  1. Hold the service key card (yellow) in front of the reading unit of the device and keep it held until the programming mode is automatically terminated. Then remove the card briefly (approx. 2 seconds).
  2. Hold the service key again in front of the reader unit and leave it in front of it. The DoorLock device signals the deletion process with short tones. Keep the service key there until all signals stop.
  3. The new card can then be taught-in.

If the device is to be retrained from an old to a new service key, the following additional steps must be carried out:

  1. Hold the old service key card in front of the reader unit to start the programming mode.
  2. Hold the new service key in front of the reading unit. (Successful relearning is indicated by a signal tone and the end of programming mode)
  3. The device can now only be used with the new service key.
