Backup

A backup is important to secure your data and configurations and to be able to restore them in the event of a device failure or an emergency situation.
Regular automatic backups allow you to ensure that important information such as logbooks and configuration settings are saved.
If, for example, you need to reset a device to the factory settings or replace a defective device, you can use the backup to quickly restore all configurations. A backup therefore provides security and makes it easier to restore your data and settings.

Create backup

In addition to the option of creating backups automatically, KentixONE also offers the option of triggering a backup manually at any time. A manually started backup cannot be saved on the SD card inserted in the device.

Restore backup

A backup can be uploaded to restore configurations. Backups can only be uploaded from an external storage medium. Backups that were created automatically and saved on the SD card inserted in the device must be moved to an external storage medium before restoring the backup from the SD card.
