Passage

A doorway is the representation of a real door within KentixONE and forms the transition between two alarm groups.

A doorway can indicate the open/closed status if the DoorLocks have a door contact.

Passages can be used to determine whether a person enters or leaves an area (alarm group), thus enabling the use of functions such as locks and anti-passback.

A passage between alarm group A and alarm group B requires one DoorLock in A and one in B.

Passages support the use of virtual DoorLocks.
For example, a DoorLock BLE can be located in an alarm group, while the other side of the passage is represented by a virtual DoorLock.
In this configuration, entry to the secured area would only be possible via an authorized booking at the DoorLock, while exit is controlled via a button.
