Overview

The use of the different mounting brackets simplifies the mounting of Kentix devices on metallic surfaces or in a 19 inch rack.

Safety instructions

Installation

Installation and commissioning may only be carried out by trained specialist personnel in accordance with the instructions.
No modifications of any kind may be made to Kentix GmbH products, with the exception of those described in the relevant instructions.
When installing Kentix devices, certain degrees of protection must be guaranteed.
Observe the relevant regulations for installations in the respective environment.
Only operate the products within the defined temperature range.
The instructions should be passed on to the user by the person carrying out the installation.
Kentix accepts no liability for damage to the devices or components caused by incorrect installation. Kentix accepts no liability for incorrectly programmed units.
Kentix accepts no liability for faults, material damage or other damage.

Use of the products, transport and storage

Protect the device from
moisture, dirt and damage during transportation, storage and operation.

Battery powered products

Do not use the products in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Only operate the products within the defined temperature range.
Installation and battery replacement may only be carried out by trained specialist personnel in accordance with the instructions.
Do not charge, short-circuit, open or heat batteries.
Observe the correct polarity when inserting the batteries.
The devices must always be operated with the batteries intended for the product.
When changing the batteries, always replace all batteries.
Dispose of old or used batteries properly.
Keep batteries out of the reach of children.

Maintenance

Kentix devices must be checked for functionality as part of annual maintenance.

Disposal

Electrical appliances and batteries must be disposed of separately from household waste.

KRA-01

When installed, the mounting frame requires one height unit in a 19 inch IT rack and up to 4 devices can be mounted on it.

KRA-01 Number of devices

KRA-02

The mounting bracket can be attached to metallic surfaces by the magnet. The load capacity is 16kg.

KRA-02 Compatible devices

KRA-03

The mounting bracket requires one height unit in a 19 inch IT rack when installed and a MultiSensor can be mounted on it. In this case, the mounting is carried out in an optimal downward orientation. The mounting bracket is also suitable for wall mounting of MultiSensors.

KRA-04

19″ mounting frame with 4U for mounting up to 22 modules (TE) on DIN rail (35mm), height: 176mm, material: sheet metal 2mm, scope of delivery: 19″ frame

KRA-04 Compatible devices

KRA-04-DP24

19″ mounting frame with 4U for mounting additional Kentix components on a DIN rail (35mm). Two DIN rail power supply units with an output voltage of 24VDC are already pre-assembled. These are used, for example, to supply power to the Kentix SiteManager. Additional terminal blocks are installed for better wiring of other devices.
Height: 176mm, material: 2mm sheet metal, scope of delivery: 19″ frame with DIN rail power supply, terminal blocks, cover.
