KentixONE online service

The KentixONE online service allows the user to check the status of the KentixONE system and open DoorLocks at any time using a smartphone app(Android | iOS).

What a user can see and operate depends on the settings in the KentixONE system.
Users may only see assigned alarm groups and open DoorLocks that have been assigned to them with access profiles.

Before users can use the KentixONE online service, the main device must be linked to the KentixONE online service.

Users who wish to use the KentixONE online service must have an email address. This is used for the app login and to link the device to the user.

Send invitation to users

Once the KentixONE online service and the user have been set up, the user can be granted access to the online service via the user list.

  1. Open the user list under User management.
  2. In the line of the desired user account, click on the cloud action button on the right-hand side and select “Manage KentixONE app access”.
  3. In the following dialog, the user’s email address, which is linked to the KentixONE online service, is displayed for confirmation.
    You can also specify whether remote opening should be disabled for the user in the KentixONE app. This means that the user can only open doors assigned to them by access profiles using RFID tokens and remote opening via the app is not possible.
  4. If all settings are set correctly, an invitation to the online service can be sent to the user.

The “GO” symbol then turns green, indicating that the user has been activated for the online service.

If an error occurs during configuration, the invitation can be revoked by reopening the dialog.

Accept invitation

The user will now receive an email with a registration link.
If the user has not received an email or the invitation has already expired (an invitation is valid for 24 hours), the email can be resent via the “Manage KentixONE App Access” dialog.
If the user accepts the invitation via the above link, the manager will appear in the manager list of the KentixONE App.

If no account is yet linked to the e-mail address, the user will receive an e-mail to set up their account with the KentixONE online service and assign a password. The user can then log in to the KentixONE app with their e-mail address and password.

The KentixONE-GO mobile application can be downloaded for iOS from the AppStore and for Android from the PlayStore.

Manage access

The “Manage KentixONE App Access” dialog can be opened again via the “Cloud” icon in the user list.
If the user has not yet accepted the invitation, the invitation can be revoked or resent in the dialog.
If the user has already accepted the invitation, access can be revoked in the dialog or a test of the push functionality can be carried out.
By clicking on “Test Push”, a sample message is sent to the user’s KentixONE App(s) to check the functionality of the notifications.
