The AlarmManager PRO can query other devices via SNMP. In the example, the temperature of a rack lock connected to the AccessManager is queried.
For this purpose, SNMP is first activated in the AccessManager with the option "Provide data". In the AlarmManager, on the other hand, an SNMP configuration "Retrieve data" is set up.
A new sensor SNMP query can then be added in the AlarmManager. Here you select the previously configured AccessManager as host and enter the desired OID in the OID field. (Temperature value of the rack lock)
In the lower area you can then set up an alarm directly and specify the unit and the conversion factor:
The temperature of the lock is then displayed directly in the Alarm Manager dashboard.
