The Kentix leakage sensor KLS03 reports its alarm via digital input 1 on the AlarmManager or a MultiSensor.

Please note that the alarm assignment of system input 1 on the AlarmManager or MultiSensor must be set to "Permanently active". Otherwise, the alarm is either not triggered at all by the leakage sensor or only in armed state. In addition, the trigger logic must be set to "When Open".

The alarm assignment can be set in the dashboard under "Edit Sensor".

If the sensor triggers alarms permanently, help can be found in the FAQ under: Leakage Sensor keeps triggering Alarms

Leakage Sensor Rope

The leakage sensor rope only triggers an alarm when approx. 10ml of water is measured over a total length of 20cm. The 20cm do not have to be in one piece and can be distributed over the whole length. To test the function it is possible to wrap a wet cloth around the measuring cable and thus trigger an alarm.

Further Information about the leakage sensor can be found here.
