Like the MultiSensors, the KeyPad keyboard is integrated into the ZigBee\u00a9 wireless network of the AlarmManager. Note, however, that the keyboard does not work as a router and cannot affect the range of the network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The KeyPad turns on when any key is pressed. The maximum operating time is then approx. 10 seconds. Within this time, an assigned alarm zone can be armed or disarmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Safety instructions<\/h2>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-accordion wp-block-hb-accordion\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__section\" data-ht-blocks-accordion-block-state=\"closed\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__title\"><span>Installation<\/span><\/div><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__content\"><div class=\"wp-block-hb-accordion__contentwrap\">Installation and commissioning may only be carried out by trained specialist personnel in accordance with the instructions.<br>No modifications of any kind, other than those described in an appropriate manual, are permitted to Kentix GmbH products.<br>Certain levels of protection must be provided when installing Kentix equipment.<br>Observe the relevant regulations for installations in the respective environment.<br>Only operate the products within the defined temperature range.<br>The instructions should be passed on to the user by the person carrying out the installation.<br>Kentix accepts no liability for damage to the equipment or components resulting from incorrect installation. To teach-in the sensor in KentixOne, start the teach-in process and then press the teach-in button for 3sec. Press until a signal tone is heard<\/li><\/ol><style>#heroic-styled-list-0d79f829-9ee8-4258-bdab-e79293d3e6d0 li:before{\n\t\t                   background:#f7931e;\n\t\t                   border-radius: 0;\n\t\t                   }<\/style><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Connect with WLAN<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To add a KeyPad touch to KentixOne, select &#8220;+&#8221; in the Alarm Zones heading area of the Dashboard, then select &#8220;MultiSensor (Wireless)&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Press the teach-in button for 3 seconds, which you reach via the recess on the back of the housing (2), until an acoustic signal sounds<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The sensor should be detected within 15-20 seconds. The configuration mask for the sensor is then opened directly. The teach-in process is now complete<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Operation via RFID<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To operate the KeyPad by means of an RFID card, this can be used instead of the 4-digit PIN for authentication.<br>To do this, activate the KeyPad and then hold your RFID card in front of the X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-danger\">Only &#8220;armed-active&#8221; alarms can be switched via the KeyPad keypad.<br><br>Alarms of the type &#8220;Permanent active&#8221; are executed \/ signaled unaffected by the armed-disarmed state of the AlarmManager or the alarm zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Teach-in user \/ RFID cards<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New RFID cards are read in via the user configuration in KentixOne on a KeyPad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Configuration with KentixONE<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The device is configured via the web browser in KentixONE. The device must be accessible to the central KentixONE instance on the network side. Depending on the device type, a communication key and the IP address or DHCP name of the central KentixONE instance must also be set on the device (MultiSensors, AccessManager, SmartPDU). IP cameras or IO modules, on the other hand, can be integrated directly into KentixONE.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All information about the software can be found in the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.kentix.com\/kentixone\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KentixONE<\/a> section and the associated documentation.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\">Before starting the configuration, make sure that the software on all network-compatible Kentix devices is up-to-date.
