The Ethernet-capable Kentix devices can already be set to SiteManager Operation during the setup wizard or subsequently under the Configuration menu item. Selecting SiteManager Operation changes the range of functions of the device’s own KentixONE web interface.
SiteManager Operation
In SiteManager Operation, the device is operated in conjunction with other Kentix devices. A Kentix SiteManager represents the central management unit, whereby the management and configuration of all devices in SiteManager Operation is carried out via the web interface of the SiteManager.
Stand-Alone Operation
A device in Stand-Alone Operation is configured and managed via its web interface. No other devices or sensors can be taught-in, configured or managed in this operating mode.
